A professional singer who has sung everything from opera to country literally around the
world, Juliet Lyons has found influence for her unique and evolving musical style in many
places. In all her travels she has witnessed that no matter how different we all may seem,
there is one thing that connects us all, a language we can all understand, -music.
In her music, Juliet weaves melody, emotion, and vocal layers which have been described as
"angelic," and "soaring," into lush soundscapes. She invokes an ethereal quality reminiscent of Enya
and Sarah Brightman.
Several of her songs have been placed in independent films and are consistently seen on
various Top 10 charts.
Despite having grown up performing in musicals, getting two music degrees from UMKC
Conservatory of Music, performing and recording internationally, and her active involvement
in Los Angeles's recording scene as a session singer and guest vocalist, she is a relative
newcomer to the songwriting scene. She is planning the release of her very first EP in early
2007.
